As the saying goes: When you truly love someone, say it with flowers.

Enjoy 3 days of colorful flower related activities. Chiang Mai brings light and color to the streets by presenting the annual Flower Parade during the 2019 Chiang Mai Flower Festival. We hope this year will yet bring another colorful display of ancient Lanna Kingdom tradition mixed with modern flower artistry. The usually large parade will find it’s way through the streets of Chiang Mai, moving from Nawarat Bridge to Thapae Road, following into Kotchasarn Road, Changlor Road and Arak Road ending at Nong Buak Hard Park. Besides an abundance of floats, meticulously adrorned with flowery display, there will be dancers, marching bands and schools respresenting their finest horticulture experience to perform in this wonderful parade, all friendly competing for best 2019 float and the choice of the Chiang Mai Flower Festival Queen.

As the attraction draws a large number of flower loving crowds, the festival also contributes to the growth of Chiang Mai in development since it powerfully advances the horticultural sector. As in past years the first festival day will involve an agricultural fair, trending landscaping displays and the floral arrangement exhibition. Following days will show an abundance of splendidly arranged flower floats, and please don’t forget to visit the fair where you can view local works of art awhile listening to musical performances walking around, appreciating the ornamental plants show.

Make sure to find a place to stay when you’re coming to Chiang Mai just for the festival, there are bound to be sold out venues of your first choice, so be on time with your booking. We’ll leave you where we started this little blog at the beginning. Visiting the Chiang Mai Flower Festival the perfect time for romance and, with the abundance of flowers around, you can’t feel anything other than that love is in the air.
